Excercise & Meditation
Early mornings on the beach are wonderful this time of year! There is a slight chill in the air but the sun is still warm.
There is nothing better to kick off the day than a run along the water!
I don't listen to music when I run. I want to hear only the sounds of nature, the whispering of the wind, the crashing of the waves, the happy chirping of the birds.
I use the time to meditate.
I clear all the worries and stress from my mind, let it be swept away by the wind and the ocean.
I count my heartbeat, my breath, my steps, the waves and the birds.
I repeat a mantra quietly to my self. I feel healthy, I feel strong, I am happy. It varies depending on the day ahead and my mood.
When I get home again I feel like a new person:)
